VOLTAIRE’S GHOST RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE UNDER CURTAIN CALL RECORDS: "CHRISTMAS PRAYER".
Just in time for the holidays, Voltaire’s Ghost is proud to unveil its first single under its new label, Curtain Call Records. Titled "Christmas Prayer," this enchanting track showcases the band’s signature blend of Rock, Gothic, and classical influences, a style uniquely described as Dark Pop and Cosmic Goth.
Haunting the hometown hills and valleys of Western Colorado, Voltaire’s Ghost combines elements of Rock, Gothic, and Classical traditions to conjure a surprising and seductive musical alchemy.
In January 2024, Voltaire’s Ghost recorded their latest release, NEMESIS—EP, at Nashville’s legendary Sound Emporium Studios. The record was produced by award-winning Nashville producer Dean Miller, son of country legend Roger Miller, and features former band member Max Reilly on piano and keys. NEMESIS—EP was released to all major streaming platforms on May 14, 2024, receiving praise for its captivating blend of styles.
Following the EP’s release, the band toured Southern California throughout the summer, including a standout performance at the historic Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood on June 22. The band returned to SoCal in October for another successful run, highlighted by a second appearance at the Whisky on October 19.
Now, Voltaire’s Ghost is already back in the studio recording their full-length follow-up to NEMESIS, with plans for a January 2025 album release. Meanwhile, "Christmas Prayer" offers a heartfelt and haunting holiday anthem, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter under
Curtain Call Records.
