Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the signing of Tak Matsumoto Group (TMG), marking the return of the renowned supergroup led by legendary guitarist Tak Matsumoto. Their new album, TMG II, is available digitally now, with a physical CD release scheduled for December 6th, 2024. Accompanying the album’s release, their new single, "Eternal Flames" (featuring BABYMETAL), is also out now.
After a 20-year hiatus, TMG’s original lineup—Tak Matsumoto (B'z), Jack Blades (Night Ranger), and Eric Martin (Mr. Big)—returns, reigniting their signature fusion of hard rock and oriental influences. The group first took the rock world by storm in 2004 with their debut album, and now they are back with TMG II, poised to deliver another dynamic rock experience.

The Journey of TMG
Formed in 2004 by Tak Matsumoto, TMG quickly soared to success, topping Japan's Oricon National Chart with their debut album TMG I. Their hit single “Oh Japan – Our Time Is Now” became a television theme sensation, and they embarked on a sold-out tour across Japan, including a legendary performance at Nippon Budokan.
Blending Eastern and Western rock elements, TMG captivated fans and critics alike. Now, with the release of TMG II, the band is ready to make waves once again in the global rock scene.

TMG II showcases Matsumoto's signature guitar brilliance, Martin's powerful vocals, and Blades' energetic basslines. Featuring special guest appearances by Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses) on drums and Yukihide “YT” Takiyama (B'z) on guitar and arrangements, the album delivers a fresh and evolved sound.
