Todos iniciamos con algo: Una idea, un sueño que, poco a poco, se va materializando. Cuando decidí comenzar un proyecto solista, lo hice con la pura ilusión de demostrarme a mí misma que podía desarrollar mis ideas. Era sólo un demo, no era una banda, ni pensaba presentarme en shows… Esa decisión cambió mi vida.
En aquellos tiempos, yo cantaba en otras bandas. Allá del 2010, le pedí a algunos amigos músicos, incluyendo a Arturo Ferrante (quien aún me acompaña en este viaje), que me ayudaran a grabar estas ideas. ¡Quién iba a pensar que algún día acabaríamos girando por el mundo o hasta tocando en el mismo escenario que Kiss! ¡Yo no lo imaginé!
Cuando tienes un sueño, hazlo realidad, da el primer pequeño paso, constrúyelo. Todo tiene un principio y a veces el miedo nos paraliza, podrías estar perdiendo la mejor oportunidad de tu vida. Quizás no escucharán a la artista que soy ahora, pero entenderán mejor de dónde vengo y quién soy en realidad...
Me siento orgullosa de compartir con ustedes este material del cual sólo tuvimos 50 copias físicas hechas por mis propias manos y la ayuda de bellas amistades, discos quemados en la computadora e impresas en la papelería (¡Afortunados aquellos que tienen los originales!). We all start with something: an idea, a dream that suddenly becomes real. When I decided to start a solo project, I did it with the purest illusion of showing myself that I could develop my own musical ideas. It was just a demo, it wasn't a band, I never thought of performing live... That decision changed my life.
In those days, I was singing with other bands. Back in 2010 I asked some musician friends, including Arturo Ferrante (who still navigates this musical dream by my side), to help me record some ideas. Who would have thought that one day we would end up touring around the world or performing on the same stage as Kiss? I didn’t!
When you have a dream, make it come true. Take the first small step, build it. Everything has a beginning and sometimes fear paralyzes us, but you could be losing the best opportunity of your life. Maybe you won't hear in this demo the artist that I’ve become, but you will better understand where I come from and who I really am...
I am proud to share with you a new (very old) digital release of this demo, which we only made 50 physical copies in 2011. I manufactured all of those with my own hands. The CD’s were burned on the computer and the packaging was printed on at Office Depot. (Lucky are those who have the originals!). AVAILABLE FOR FREE on "El Ritual" level or above.
